Pilgrimage 2009

Outline of the day

11am St Thomas Bradwell Village - opening worship with music led by Salvation Army Band

Pilgrimage departs arriving at St Peter's Chapel around 12noon

we walk in silence on the gravel path from the car park leading to the Chapel itself 

12.15am Worship at St Peter's Chapel with Hosanna worship band from Holy Trinity Springfield, followed by picnic and various activities, including:

Pauline Hallanzy from Religious Society of Friends (Quakers)

 Angie and Mike King from Ethiopia/One Village

Rosemary Privett from Diocese of Chelmsford (One Childhood)

Paul Trathen from Diocese of Chelmsford (One Economy) (in the Bank Building)

 

In the Chapel: 

Annie Mawson

 

At Othona: 

Youth Activities (age 10+) including WON football tournament and the Bar n Bus 

 

In the Marquee:

Children's activities and crafts for age 0-10  

Stalls from:

Christians Aware, Pleshey Retreat House, Oasis Bookshop, Woodcarving Association, Anglicans in Mission, Mothers Union, Latchingdon Gallery, WATCH, Quakers, Cursillo, Othona, Chapel Bookstall 

Also on site: Saxons Encampment, Renewal of Baptism vows/recommitment of Christian Faith, Othona Lunches and refreshments 

 

 Closing worship and Community Singing at 3.30pm
